| Konjac Glucomannan Gum is a kind of natural macromolecular compound. However, it not only has common attribute of ordinary macromolecular compound, but also is water-soluble, expansible and gel-irreversible. |
| Konjac Glucomannan Gum is a new type of additive to food and a new macromolecular material. Its main ingredient is glucomannan, over 90%. The producing technology is in the lead in the country and the company has applied for invention patent (CN110275A). It has been produced in wide scope and the quality is up to the international standard. |
| High quality konjac gum is developed according to the demand of international market. Ordinary konjac powder has many defects as following: high content of impurity (about 30%), thick smelling of fish, low solubility. Konjac Powder even contains harmful material, which effects seriously its usage in food. Konjac Glucomannan Gum became popular among food factories when it first came out in Japan and the USA. It is widely regarded as a very good edible gel with reasonable price. Therefore, it will substitute part of other edible gel of high price. Owing to the limited resources in Japan and America,. 50000 ton of gelatin and pectin and 10000 ton glucomannan gum is imported to Japan and America every year, mainly used in cosmetics, food, medicine and film. |

| 1500 ton konjac gum will be produced after completion of construction. Sales income will be RMB £¤ 114,000,000, total cost, RMB £¤ 81,705,000, taxes, RMB £¤ 5,506,000, sale profit, RMB £¤ 26,789,000, annual income tax, RMB £¤ 8,840,000 and profits and taxes, RMB £¤ 32,295,000. |

All this will open up a new field of industry application, based on semi-cellulose, which is of great significance to developing abundant natural resources and raising human's health level. |

The construction will last one year, and 640 ton konjac oligosaccharide will be produced after completion each year. Annual sales income will be RMB160,000,000 yuan and profit and taxes will total RMB39,760,000 yuan. The invest-profit and tax rate will be 66.11%. |

Developing Blueprint

1. Found 40000 mu white konjac-planting bases and 60000 mu konjac-planting in Yunan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Hubei and Hunan.

3. Build a producing plant of 10000 ton konjac powder in Yichang.
4. Set up 5 big distribution center and 20 shops in monopoly style.
